Scuttlers enjoy listening to music from the Jukebeast. It plays five different instruments but only performs for a fee! A scuttler’s purse lying close by provides the necessary coins.

Number: money
Children observe the use of money in the adult world and naturally have a great interest in using money themselves! It is therefore very important children become familiar and confident with using and exchanging coins from a young age.
By playing Tongue ’n Groove the player practises and develops number and problem solving skills by combining and separating coins up to a given value and develops and understand of the concept of money and exchange.
Tongue ’n Groove uses a fictitious decimal currency from Scuttlebutt i.e. 100 scutts = 1 butt; 50 scutts = 20 + 20 + 10 etc. Mathematical emphasis is on combinations of 5s, 10s, 20s and 50s.
